– Mansfield, Nottinghamshire free delivery within a 10 mile radius
– Solihull, Birmingham free delivery within a 5 mile radius

How long does the equipment take to set up?
It takes 30 – 45 minutes to set up the soft play equipment at the beginning of a hire, with the same again to pack it all away at the end of the hire period. Please do keep this in mind when booking your time slot at a venue or arranging your event.
How long does a hire last?
Its up to you how long your party is going to last. We do a standard 3 hours hire with additional hours available to be added. We will arrange a pre agreed delivery and collection time prior to your event.
Do You Have Public Liability Insurance?
Yes we have 5 million public and product liability insurance. This covers us against accident and injury caused by our equipment failing or incorrect or unsafe installation. This does not however cover the hirer for accidents or injury resulting from the misuse or abuse of the equipment when the hirer is responsible for providing their own supervision. Any operator telling you otherwise is not telling you the truth. Most household insurance will cover the hirer for accidents or injury at a person’s home or property although it remains the responsibility of the hirer to check that their insurance will cover them. As the hirer, you are responsible for ensuring adult supervision of the equipment at all times unless supervision is provided by a Ready Steady Play member of staff.
What do you cater for?
Our soft play equipment is ideal for babies – young children with ages ranging from 0 – 5 Years of age its a great all rounder for any party!
Can Your Equipment Go Outside?
Our soft play hire equipment is only available for indoor hire either in a venue, your home or a party tent where a suitable covered dry space is available to install the equipment. If however on the day the weather is good and is set to remain good all day we are happy to set up the equipment outside. We should stress that we do not accept bookings for outdoor hires where an covered dry space is not available as our equipment is not suitable for use in the rain and must not under any circumstances get wet. If the weather were to change or be forecast for rain on the day and there was nowhere to set up the equipment indoors we would have no alternative that to cancel the booking leading to disappointment all round.
How Do I Pay?
Ready, Steady, Play take a £50.00 deposit to secure your booking which asks as a damages deposit payable by bank transfer. The balance is payable in cash upon delivery or by bank transfer no less than 7 days before your party. The breakages deposit is then refunded on collection of the equipment should there be no damages. With the withdrawal of the Cheque Guarantee Card we regret that we are no longer able to accept cheques and do not have the facility to accept credit or debit card payments.
Do I Need To Pay A Deposit?
Yes, we ask for a £50.00 deposit to secure your soft play party package and date which also acts as the damages deposit, the full amount of hire price will then be due on the day.
What Happens If I Need To Cancel?
As long as you cancel your booking no less than 28 days before your hire date, your deposit will be returned in full. For cancellations received less than 28 days before the hire date your 50% deposit will be retained although where more than 14 days notice is given we will allow you to transfer your deposit to an alternative hire date within 6 months of the original hire date, subject to availability.
How Much Room Do I Need To Allow?
This really depends on the package your looking to hire. We supply all of our packages with soft play mats which can be arranged in almost any shape to accommodate different layouts. Each package will be supplied with enough mats to create the ideal soft play area however smaller areas can be accommodated if space is limited. Please notify us is space is a potential issue so we can discuss your individual requirements.
